The Union of Righteousness and Unrighteousness…
* In Chinese characters, Righteousness and volunteer, are the same “Yi (義)”，therefore, in this article, I use Righteousness for Volunteers, furthermore, Unrighteousness for Staff-members.
在遠東廣播公司中國福音事工部服事多年，最感嘆也最感恩的，是許許多多的義工！
義工的人數遠超過同工的10倍以上，遍佈世界各地甚至許多從未謀面。
我們常常笑說義工們是「義」；而我們這些同工是「不義」的 J
而幾乎同工們都是從義工開始做起，然後正式加入成為同工。
義工們承擔了各種各樣的工作：從郵寄刊物到燒CD裝CD、從整理圖書館到文書處理和翻譯、從節目製作主持到音頻上傳下載、從聽寫節目整理文稿到配圖發佈、從回答聽眾來信到新媒體各大平台的維護推廣。
常常，義工是追著我們要活兒幹；常常，義工謝謝我們給他/她參與服事的機會。
義工是我們的禱告伙伴和經費奉獻者；義工更會帶著好吃好喝的來慰勞我們！
因著神的愛和呼召，義與「不義」有了最美的聯合…
I worked at Far East Broadcasting Company – Chinese Ministries for many years, and the emotions towards volunteers are greatly mixed: long sigh with joyful gratitude; there are so many of these volunteers.
The total number is more than tenfold the number of staff members;, volunteers are all over the world, and some of them we have never met.
To add some humor to the situation, I’d like to call Volunteers “Righteousness, and Staff-members “Unrighteousness”.☺
In reality, many Staff members started as Volunteers, and then later, joined FEBC, in other words, transformed from “Righteousness” to “Unrighteousness.”
“Righteousness” are actually carrying a large work load: mailing publications, burning CDs, encasing CDs, arranging books in the library, documentation and translation, program producing and hosting, uploading and downloading, dictating recorded articles, arranging proper pictures with the articles, answering letters from listeners, and maintaining and promoting our work with social media platforms.
Very often, “Righteousness” diligently ask for work from the “Unrighteousness,”, and more often, “Righteousness” thank the “Unrighteousness” for letting them have opportunities to serve.
“Righteousness” also are our praying partners and financial supporters;, moreover, when “Righteousness” come to work, they bring tasty treats to FEBC for the “Unrighteousness” to share.
Because the love of God and His calling, “Righteousness” and “Unrighteousness” have the most wonderful union.
30年來，不論我們搬到哪裡，總有可愛的義工幫助我們郵寄刊物。
For 30 years, no matter where we moved, there were lovely volunteers who helped us mail our publications.
